Paul and Kat

Paul Royer and Kat Keene's Love Story
-written by Kat
So, I met Paul at institute. As president of institute we are "obligated" to say hi to who ever is new. (What a chore to say hi to a cute guy, right?) So, anyway, things went from there. We spent that whole night discussing everything about ourselves. Unfortunately a few days later I freaked out and it lasted for a good couple of months. I guess I just knew he was the one and it was scary! So it took a while before I could let myself relax and like him. As soon as I gave in, it was over! When we got engaged it was in the very spot we met at institute! I had gotten out of class one night and Paul was waiting at my car. I simply thought he was being cute. However, when he got serious and said we needed to talk I knew it was coming. So I started to freak out a little. Fortunately, my bladder was also so full that I told him it would have to wait for a bathroom trip. I took my key to the institute and we went inside. By now you can tell what he was planning -to propose at the place we met! As soon as I finished my business, I found him in that exact spot. He simply said: "Didn't we meet right here? Let's just hug in the spot where we 1st met!" Oh, brother! And then, of course, it happened. Cute and cheesy, just the way I like it! The ring I got happened to be one I had picked out on our 1st date (when I still didn't like him yet). We had picked it out as a joke that Paul would let Grayson know which one I wanted. I think he knew what he was doing the whole time! Little stinker. So that's that and now we're getting married. It's all over ;), but in a good way! I've graduated; yay me!

Paul and Kat will be married in the Los Angeles Temple on May 28, 2009. Their reception will be on Saturday May 30th from 10a.m. to 1 p.m.

Congrats Paul and Kat!! We will all miss you guys, but we are so excited for you!
